Bernhard Schrauth studied social sciences at the University Erlangen-Nuremberg and at the University of Utrecht and earned his diploma in social sciences in 2011. Since October 2011 Mr Schrauth is working as a research assistant at the Institute for empirical Sociology at the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen, Nuremberg. His current work at the institute is dedicated to the research of road safety and mobility management where he collaborates in numerous research projects. He is a PhD candidate at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg in sociology, especially in the research of road safety and mobility behaviour.
