I lead the Adolescent Risk Research Unit (ARRU), based in the Sunshine Coast Mind and Neuroscience Centre, University of Sunshine Coast.

As a road safety undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral student, I found it impossible not to be dismayed regarding the adolescent road safety crash statistics. Throughout my studies and my post-doctoral research, teaching, and engagement activities I have developed a breadth of skills which I believe can help improve adolescent road safety not just on the Sunshine Coast or in Australia, but around the world.

Developing CADROSA simultaneously with ARRU has allowed me to expand my capacity for positive impact through mentoring and supervising students, supervising research assistants, and collaborating with researchers, academics, industry, policy makers and practitioners on a global scale. I truly believe that together we can make a difference.
